Eniva Corporation

Eniva

The Eniva Corporation of Minneapolis, USA, a $150 million company, were about to enter the UK in October 2006, to distribute their “Vibe” Nutritional Tonic to the UK consumer domestic market. Sales are undertaken by direct sales associates and the senior Eniva management team were looking to set up their own distribution centre to undertake the operation in the UK.

United Logistics became involved in the decision making process and after lengthy discussions and detailed cost analysis, UL proved it would be of overall, beneficial to sub contract the operation to United Logistics Ltd.

Various sites were considered and within three weeks a location was identified in the South West of the UK. This had an added advantage as United Logistics were partnering for the UK parcel distribution on behalf of Eniva with the Home Delivery Network Ltd, some 20 miles from the HDNL central hub in the South West Midlands.

In early December 2006, just two months after initial discussions had begun, a contract was signed between Eniva and United Logistics, with the first stocks of bottled Vibe, Vibe sachets, packing materials and marketing materials being received into the UL warehousing facility on 18th December. The first orders were picked, packed and shipped on 19th December in time for delivery before Christmas 2006.

To quote the Eniva management, team, “We cannot thank United Logistics for all the help and efforts that have been provided to us. Eniva Corporation could not have opened in the UK as smoothly, without the total “United commitment”. Consequently, building on the UK success, we are working together on our imminent expansion into mainland Europe.
